Welcome to the New York English Teacher (“NYET”) website and online services (the ‘Site’), which offers English lessons and quizzes online. By visiting or using the Site or using any of our information, tools, features, and functionality (the “Services”) available on the Site, you are entering into a binding contract with New York English Teacher (“NYET”). Whether you are a “Visitor” (which means that you visit the Site) or you are a “User” (meaning you have used the services on the Site.) The term “you” refers to a Visitor or a User. The term “we” refers to NYET and its affiliates.

When you wish to use our Services, you must read this Agreement and indicate your acceptance during the registration process. This contract is essential and affects your legal rights, so please read these Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”) and NYET Privacy Policy. Your Agreement with us includes these Terms and our Privacy Policy. It represents the contract between you and NYET concerning the Site (the “Agreement”). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Services.

To use the Services, you must be 16 or older or be 13 or older and have your parent or guardian’s consent to these Terms. You must have the ability to enter into a binding contract with us and not be barred from doing so under any applicable laws. You also certify that any registration information you submit to us is true, accurate, and complete. You consent to keep it that way at all times. Before continuing, you may print or save a local copy of this Agreement for your records.

Changes to the Agreement & Termination

Periodically, we may make changes to the Services and the Agreement at our discretion. At any time, we may discontinue part or all operation of the Services or selectively disable certain aspects of the Services or portions of the Site. Service changes or cancelations will be done at our absolute discretion and without any obligation or liability to you. Your use of the Site and Services does not entitle you to the continued provision or availability of the Site and Services.

When we make changes to the Agreement that we consider substantial, we will notify you through the Services or Site. You acknowledge your acceptance of the changes by continuing to use the Services after those changes get made. Your recourse upon dissatisfaction with the modified terms of use is to cease using the Services. NYET reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Site or Services.

These Terms will continue to apply to you until terminated by either you or NYET. NYET may terminate your access to our Services as deemed necessary at our discretion. If NYET suspends your access to the Services, you agree that NYET shall have no liability or responsibility to you.
